Sometimes it's hard to tell if ppl are incompetent or just trying to take advantage of me bc I'm a female; but not this time! When coming out to give me a quote on Tues 4/9 the employee was super dramatic from the beginning: "how did it get like this?" and "ObViOuSlY this pool hasn't been kept up" the pool was a little cloudy bc I had brushes the walls earlier but he didn't want to listen. Proceeded to ask how old my filter was, cut me off without letting me finish my answer and tells me I need a new filter for sure... without ever looking at the filter!?! He told me it would initially cost $300 to get it swimmable again bc this would require "multiple treatments" 😂 then start charging the monthly maintenence from there. He then tells me that if I use pinch a penny for ANYTHING that's I'll end up paying more... then proceed to quote me more for the service than pinch a penny ever did 🤦🏽♀️ Finally I decided to ask if he could look at the pool vacuum to see why it stops moving intermittently and he again blamed it on the filter without EVER actually looking at it. I obviously went with another company who actually looked at the equipped before making suggestions and quoted me a cheaper price. Crazy how it only took this other company one visit... pics are from Tues 4/11 the evening VIP pools came out, then Fri 4/12 after it was serviced by someone else and Sunday morning 4/14. So either Mr. "3 treatments" salesperson from VIP pools didn't know what he was talking about or was just trying to take advantage of a potential customer. Just glad I didn't take him too seriously.
I have been with Tampa Pool Services since we bought our house with a pool in August 2021. I'm very happy with the work they do cleaning and maintaining our pool. He is very professional and I don't have to worry about anything. Price wise, they may be one of the most affordable in the area for the amount/quality of work they do. Highly recommended.
Best Tampa pool company. We have tried a lot before we were referred to Tampa VIP Pool Services. From day one, they have been responsive and our pool has never looked better. We had a leak with our pump and they came out same day and told us exactly what needed to be done. They are reliable, professional and good at what they do. Highly recommend them if you are looking for a pool service in Tampa.

After struggling with various other pool service companies for 3 years, I had a neighbor recommend VIP and they rock! I had to fire 3 other pool service companies because they just couldn't get the basics right but VIP goes above and beyond to deliver a fantastic customer experience. Reliable, expert service and a fair price. I highly recommend these guys.
Our home is used for airbnb. When I arrived at the house our pool was dirty and green. The owners, Javier and Jose showed up that day and over the next couple of days were able to get our pool looking great and crystal clear again. I highly recommend them for all of your pool servicing needs and I am looking forward to not having to worry about our pool in the future. Tampa VIP pool services has us covered!
