If I could rate West Florida Concrete a zero star.. I would. I called up two weeks prior to ask if 6 yards of concrete was good for a 20x20 ft 4 inch slab, and the owner Robert told me that 5 1/2 yards would be fine. I get a call today 3/14/23 at 8:30am to ask if I was able to switch from 1pm to 11am because it would be an inconvenience for their driver that was already in the Riverview area. I said that was fine. The concrete driver arrived with the pump at 10am, I said we were re scheduled for 11am the driver said that’s fine. The contractor was here by 10:45am to start pouring the concrete. I get a call from my contractor telling me it only looks like 4 1/2 yards of concrete not 5 1/2 yards as he said some companies do that to save costs. I get an another call from Robert a few minutes later saying it was enough concrete. I said I asked you 2 weeks prior based off the dimensions if 6 yards was fine and you said yes, it’s more than enough. Robert then proceeds to tell me that his pump driver needs to leave because it’s costing him money. I said you asked me to change my time from 1pm to 11am no problem I said, and you can’t have your driver stay 30 extra minutes to make sure the job gets done correctly and the concrete doesn’t settle. He’s like man that’s your fault you guys measuring was wrong or something is wrong. This led into an argument, and even told me I would pay for it because he already had my money. I had already ordered the second truck at 2 yards for extra $400 dollars after already paying for the first truck and pump. And I couldn’t have another pump return. His own employee told us that the first pump driver should have stayed and finished the job correctly. Be cautious with who you do business with. Robert the owner cursed me off in English and Spanish. I also had to find a concrete supplier the same day and get another 2 yards at $665.43 dollars after paying West Florida Concrete almost $1900 dollars today. Here is what West Florida left me with and the concrete already settling.

This company is terrible they will short load you everytime. Terrible service and in my opinion dispatcher is incompetent and dishonest.

We had another not so sunny Florida concrete company cancel our order two hours prior to them being scheduled to arrive at our job site. When we asked to reschedule for the next day, they told us it would be another week before they could reschedule. After all of that extreme aggravation, I called West Florida Concrete and explained our predicament. Robert was able to get us on the schedule for the next day bringing great relief to my very very high stress level. They are great at communicating and helped us successfully complete our job. Thank you again!!!!!!!!!!

Great Company to work with. They called to keep me informed of delivery time, the driver was very helpful and respectful. There was no mess when they left. We will be using again and definitely recommend.

Terrible service from WEST FLORIDA CONCRETE
Truck was scheduled for noon, showed up 3:30.
Ok
Two guys spoke no English.
Frustrating, but I know a little Spanish, so, Ok.
Extra fees added to price that were never before mentioned.
Not cool, but need to get to work, so, Ok.
But this?? They needed to "clean their chute"
CLEAN THEIR CHUTE?!?! They dumped a yard of concrete on the corner of my clients driveway spilling into the neighbors yard while I was working in the another area!!! When I called the office they told me the homeowner told them to dump all that their , and to have a nice day! My client was with me the whole time and never said that! I am beyond frustrated with this. To top it all off they left a nasty oil spot on the driveway before they left ABSOLUTELY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
